This course is designed for those who wish to obtain a better understanding of employment law, employment practices liability exposures, and the ways in which employers can mitigate the risk of EPL claims. Topics include an overview of federal employment law, current trends and statistics, and risk control practices. The course also provides practical information and tips that participants can implement in their organization to assist in mitigating EPL risk.
This course is taught by Laura Lapidus, Esq., CNA’s Employment Practices Liability (EPL) Risk Control Consulting Director. Laura is responsible for providing risk control support to all of CNA’s products which provide employment practices liability insurance coverage.
